Minifinity: Classic Mini Club and Forum

On the 8th of April, 2007 Minifinity presents an amazing family day out at one of the South Wests best-loved attractions, Crealy Adventure Park (near Exeter).

There will be a lot happening throughout the day, starting with a briefing to explain the day’s events, including:-

There will be Go-Karting (in Dawlish),
The legendary bridge challenge,
Raffle,
Party games and
Prize giving session.
The author of Mini-themed childrens books "Molly the Mini" Allison Orchard-Hammill will be present as well so signed copies of her books will be on sale.

For those that are wondering…………………YES there is the option for fancy dress. The theme is the 15th anniversary of Disneyland Paris. However fancy dress is NOT compulsory for car or driver.

The afternoon will include a convoy to the Seaside where the minis will be on display. To get to Dawlish Warren we will be shooting down along the coast past some spectacular countryside in our short but sweet (about 30minute) run. We leave the park at 2 p.m. for the run to Dawlish Warren, where all the minis will be on the green for more fun and silliness.

For those that dont know, Minifinity came into being on October 1st 2003. Since then it has bought thousands of Mini owners together - some over the internet and some in a random field in close proximaty to a BBQ and copius amounts of alcohol.

There have been many relationships formed. Some of us have made whole group loads of friends, and some have gone that step futher and found something a little more intimate. Weve watched two couples marry last year, and many more are known to be living together (although most of these had met before MF was established) BUT for Gilesy and Minimoo Minifinity has lead them to something quite amazing, something so precious and definitely something that shouldnt rust and will never need a new front end.

On 7th Feburary 2007 at 1.18pm baby Alyssa Jasmine was born weighing 8lb 11oz,with black spikey hair. Gilesy and Minimoo are proud that her first journey home was in her Mummys Mini, thus sealing her destiny (and her Daddys) of endless weekends of oil, frustration, oil, rust, oil, calls to the AA, oil, debt, oil - but laced with the most exciting corners there are to be had and the opportunity to mix with a wicked bunch of people. Is there any better way to be born into the world?

And so, at the grand old age of 3 1/2, Minifinity is now a very proud grandparent and Alyssa has over 5500 aunties and uncles. Good luck with everything that comes your way Alyssa - you know where we are if you need us!
