Guys, i cant believe it myself but honest, its only 180 days to go today, woohoo! after having a pretty successful show at bingley hall and getting various ppl paying we actually have a list of 23 cars going already which is absolutely AWESOME!!!!!! i cant wait...and yes gordon, i am dead excited already and again wish i had a fast car for the ring this..even tho mine is okay if i push him really hard LOL...can i drive yours maybe if i ask nicely :wink:

Sounds like you're planning a family so we wouldn't want you risking yours' while driving mine... Baby's that is. LOL

thx..thats exactly the same what i wanna do..covering my mini up..but have to fix the cover before...it has some tiny holes

hello guys! today i have no clue how many days it is til we go to the ring cos i was counting down the days to my SKI holiday instead :wink:

it starts today so when im back i can count the days til R10 again...its not long tho - thats what i know! have a great week guys, im back next sun..

and here im back again from skiing - had an awesome time and just found out its only 139 days to go til we go to NURBURGRING, woohoo!

saw the little announcement for R10 this morning in the april minimag and really really liked it - thanks jeff for putting it in the mag

btw its only 13 days that we are accepting deposits - from 1st april onwards we need the full amount to be paid (its still only 90quid so not that bad :wink:

)

guys, 119 days to go until this years R10 starts - needless to say im very excited already - looking at the "deposit paid" list, we have 35 cars paid and going which is great as its still more than 1.5months left until we close for bookings

last weekend tho i discovered that my mini needs a few things done before being ready for the ring this year (aaarghhh!!!!) - a few things means id like to get two new a panels as one of them started rusting away (just a bit only) so ill have a look whether im able to pay for getting them both replaced before the run...other than that im gonna get him a bit faster, WOOOHOO, and get a new set of tyres. haha, seems i have to get a new well paid job to be able to pay for everything

OMG, i didnt notice it was 20 days ago already when i last posted a countdown so i thought its about time!!!!!

its 99 days to go! only...

time is flying by...after my last post i discovered that t-cut is awesome (thanks daz!) and i used quite alot on my a-panel which is sorted now (sort of lol - no seriously, its alot better!). so my mini will keep his a-panels for now...i still need to get the stereo going again and i dunno how, but we obviously cant make the trip without any music, hahaha.
im still dreaming of a new engine and one day in the (prob far away) future ill have a REALLY fast lap in my mini on the ring, that will be fab!
also im still trying to sell my travelodge family room for a good price (anyone interested???) so if anyone wants it let me know...
other than that we got some new camping bargains the other week so yes, we are prepared already! i cant wait!

its only 80 days to go from now...and that is actually not long at all. ive ordered a new set of shocks. my mini is getting a new set of proper race tyres (lol) as soon as cos i have a nail in one of his tyres. theres no air coming out yet tho.
i still need a k&n and a new exhaust and then hes nearly ready to go...wish i had a fast engine already, hehe...
still trying to get rid of my travelodge family room.
sometimes i cant sleep cos im SO EXCITED already...hope it doesnt get worse til we actually start:wink:

Bought a new tent last week, and tried out at the L2B, all seems well

Really looking forward to it now, but need to sort out hotel for Dover and get a super large sleeping bag for Hubby, then we are good to go!

Too late! .... it is all sanded down, It will be in primer this week, then the labour of love, 5 Litres of cellulose paint will be wofted over the whole shell, that god awful 998 is on the workshop floor and my dear friend Guessworks is currently working on the 1380, X pin diff, and 286 cam. I have resisted the straight cut box as it is too noisy!

10" alloys are in stock, as are the Cooper S discs, you young ones just follow the Silver Group "as usual"

75 days to go today...in 77 days at exactly this time our mini-only time round the ring is going to start!!!! woohoo!

today, im picking up my new shiny bumper (after having the last one for half a day on my car before i broke it LOL) so i do hope this one will last until R10

...my new set of shocks arrived this week as well and i ordered a new set of tyres (good yokohama racing tyres splinter!!!!) which i hopefully get next week...then i have loadsa bits and pieces to do with the mini to get him ready for the ring but theres still enough time.

hope youre all getting yourself and the minis ready and dont forget to email back your questionnaires please!!!

right, only 71 days to go from today...picked up my new bumper last weekend, got my boot dented out very nicely and got my brand new set of proper tyres fitted today...here a quick pic:

im SO PROUD and never had THAT massive tyres on any of my minis before...jesus. but theyre great and im quite glad i got them...

its a few days left to send back the questionnaires so hurry up guys
