Minifinity: Classic Mini Club and Forum

Welcome to Minifinitys Ring One Zero 2010

This is an all "new" event for minis from the UK to the Nurburgring in Germany. This event is brought to you with the experience of the Silver Ring Rally Team and Minifinity. This will be the 5th year of taking just minis to the Nurburgring.

It is our aim to make sure that ANYBODY with a mini that would like to take part can do and it is our aim to provide all the information and help we can to make this possible for you.

Minifinitys Ring One Zero is a mini (classic and BMW) event that travels from the UK to the Nurburgring in Germany over a long weekend. 5th-9th August. We have 30minutes of Track time at the Nurburgring (as previous years),a Large Campfire and Party where we are joined by lots of German Mini Folk + Runs out in the Countryside.

In Previous years as the Silver Ring Rally this event has:

'09 had 30minutes of mini only time on the Nurburgring

'08 took 50! minis from Silverstone UK to the Nurburgring Germany

'08 had 2 mini only parade laps of the Nurburgring, including a complete drive through lap. This had never been done before!

'07 was the largest family Classic mini event to the Nurburgring. It was featured over 4 pages in MiniMag!

'07 we also had TWO Parade laps of SPA Francorchamps GP race track!

This new event is taking a twist for 2010. In a world of rising costs we have taken the choice to trim all the fat out of this event. Our new event proposal is below

Welcome to..."Ring Rally 2010 The Budget Edition"

The german side of the event will stay similar to previous events. We have our 30 mins mini only Track Time confirmed for Saturday morning and we are staying at the same place. However thats where the simlar bits will stop. There will be no stop overs in hotels and one extra night at the ring!

Key Points:
-Starting Point is proposed 7am ish Dover. You may want to stop over!
-T-Shirts will be available for the nominal cost or £7.00 each
Confirmed cost of £90.00 per car. To include:- Return Ferry for car and up to 3 passengers
-30 mins Rented ring time
-Run Plaque and window stickers

Pay for your own accomodation at the 'Ring. Campsite will be booked as previous years. Pay on arrival. As yet we do not have a confirmed price for this but expect similar to previous years. 10 to 15 euros per person per night
